ECI Task Force Co-Lead
Purpose of the team:
The European Citizens’ Initiative (ECI) Task Force aims to give Citizens a distinct voice in EU legislation with the help of an European Citizens’ Initiative. The task force does not only coordinate the collaboration with ECI’s like “Voter’s without Borders” or “Fridays for Future”, it is also preparing our own Volt - ECI to improve: Creating a truly European and sustainable railway network.
Purpose of the position:
The task force Co-Lead organises the team’s efforts to prepare Volt’s own ECI and keeps up to date with the collaboration with other ECIs. The Co-Lead therefore organises calls, keeps an overview of the upcoming challenges for the task force, coordinates the tasks within the team and takes on different tasks herself.
Tasks and competencies:
- Organise calls and tasks of the ECI task force
- Communication with the the European Board and other relevant Volt-internal institutions
- Keep up to date with relevant news for the ECI and recommendations of the ECI forum
- Coordination skills
Must have: great organisational skills, effective communication, superb at working in a team

The role of the ECI Task Force Co-Lead requires around 2 - 4 hours per week. The deadline for applications is 30 April 2022.
