Three most important issues concerning Europe in my view:

  1. The lack of political unity, making much harder to tackle any problem at a european level.
  2. Climate change poses a huge threat, and there is still no strong political action to deal with it.
  3. Europe lacks competitiveness, research and investment in most high tech fields.

What makes me enthusiastic about Volt:

  1. Its paneuropean project, trying to break down national barriers and tackle Europe-wide issues with a Europe-wide approach.
  2. Its focus on a future of environmental sustainability, peace and social equality.
  3. Its approach to politics, with diffused leadership, a network of cooperation, and refusal of vertical, authoritarian structures.</li

My main reasons for joining the „Community Organization Program“:

  1. Improve my ability to understand and solve problems in a team.
  2. Learn how to be the most effective leader I can, to bring needed change in my community and society at large.
  3. Have the opportunity to understand what it means to create a network and be part of it.

With my newly acquired knowledge my goal is to:

Enlarge and strengthen our volunteer network in Volt, enabling it to bring change in the world outside, while making it a supportive and positive influence for the people inside.

Contributions could be tax deductible in your country. We are a community of thousands of citizens, and we keep growing at a faster rate than we could have ever hoped for. That’s why Volt needs the economic support of every single one of us. Together, we can drive a real change and re-invent European politics. We are all investing our time and our hopes in this project, so let’s make it real. With your contribution, we can revolutionize the way politics is done. Our donation policy: For donations exceeding the cumulative amount of €3.000 within a year, we will disclose the identity of the donor in compliance with our donation policy, provided that you give us your explicit consent. If you refuse, the total amount of your donation will be returned to you.
